Overall: Caelan has black hair that reaches to his chin and frames his face. His hair covers his right hair and gives him an 'emo' look despite his rather polite nature. His face is hard, and warns most people away. His build is slender, yet muscular under his mostly black clothing.

Personality: Caelan has a two-part personality. On the one hand, he has the appearance of an emo guy with the black clothes and heavy metal. He tends to use this as a defense so he can be alone. He spends a lot of time thinking, and he's actually rather smart. He hates his hippie parents, often acting out defiantly towards them. The only person he truly cares for is his little sister.
On Caelan's other side, he can be very loyal and kind. For those he really respects, and for his sister, he can be thoughtful, and will take the time to listen to their problems. He tries to relate to people.
History: Caelan was born the oldest of two children. His parents were the free-spirited type, and basically had no rules. Caelan and his sister were allowed to go anywhere and try anything by the time they started grade school. Their parents spent their days writing poetry, painting bizarre pictures on the biggest canvas they could get, and drinking cheap wine. By the time Caelan was ten, he was beyond embarrassed by his parents, and compared them to his friends'. He eventually decided to spend as much time as he could away from home, and stopped introducing his parents to anyone.
Caelan has taken it upon himself to look out for his little sister, and looks out for her when no one else does. Still, he spends a lot of time alone, and has few friends.
